BIOGRAPHY:
Randy has extensive experience and training in the field of dispute resolution. Randy was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1991 and in Alberta in 1992. Prior to entering law school Randy worked for a number of years as a law clerk in a downtown Toronto corporate and commercial firm. Randy has experience in most areas of law but has restricted his practice primarily to family law (separation, divorce and estates), with some select corporate and commercial clients where Randy’s work is concentrated on functional dispute resolution in the business environment. Randy became an accredited family law mediator in 1994. In 2000 Randy graduated with a Masters of Arts degree in Conflict Analysis and Management. Randy uses his conflict resolution skills to obtain efficient and effective resolution for his clients at a minimum cost. Randy’s practice is devoted primarily to collaborative practice with mediation and litigation available options to his clients when and where required.

Randy teaches law and dispute resolution techniques, primarily to MBA and human resource students. Randy is also very interested in conflict theory and research and continues to write and research in this area.
