BIOGRAPHY:
I provide emotional support and wise guidance to all of
my clients to assist them in achieving a positive outcome
which will benefit the whole family. I am committed to
finding healing solutions. I have come to the practice
of law after other careers and many life experiences that
have shown me there can always be a healing solution.
As a Registered Nurse, specializing in paediatric and
intensive care nursing, I learned about the level of support
needed for the dynamics of family life in the face of
traumas and tragedies.
As a professional freelance photographer from 1977 to
1983, I developed my capacity to see the beauty in people
and help them to see it in themselves.
I was called to the Bar in 1989. I did mediation training
in 1995 and Collaborative Family Law training in 2002.
From the beginning of my Family Law practice, I have endeavoured
to work in ways that preserve respect, and balance use
of sound knowledge with care and responsiveness. These
are some of the underlying principles of Collaborative
Practice.
