BIOGRAPHY:
I have been practicing Family Law in British Columbia
since 1982. As a result of my years of litigating family
matters, I strongly believe that the Collaborative approach
can bring significant benefits to the parties and their
families. It allows for individuals to play a far greater
role in their settlement, and assists people in building
or maintaining lines of communication which should benefit
the entire family.
I completed my Family Law Mediation training in 1986.
I have been an instructor with the Professional Legal
Training Course for lawyers, as well as being a participant
in the Law Courts Education Society. I am an active parent
of two young children and strongly believe that the financial
and emotional costs of litigating matrimonial disputes
can and should be avoided if at all possible.
I would be pleased to offer a free initial consultation
in order for you to determine whether we could work well
together.
